Description

Yaku Wari is a brand of 100% artisanal pot still rum from the coast of Ecuador.

Distilled and aged in the coastal province of Manabi, Yaku Wari is imported and bottled in the European Union, without “tampering” with the product with blending, additions of any kind or cold filtering, so as to preserve all its original qualities and an original profile and exuberant.

The first bottling of Yaku Wari comes from 11 single casks aged 7 years in the tropics.

The entire batch was distilled in 2015 from cane juice rum, according to the French style, extracted from the local sugar cane in the plains.

Fermented for 8-9 days and distilled twice in the alembic, the rum, with an average alcohol volume of 60%, was left in virgin oak barrels in the tropical environment of the Ecuadorian coast.

Here, the rum has undergone rapid evaporation, which has produced an expressive yet delicate profile.
