Flying Dutchman Rum Port Cask 3 YO 40% Vol. 0,7l

Description

Flying Dutchman Rum is distilled by Zuidam Distillers, a distillery wholly owned and operated by the Van Zuidam family. The rum is fermented from carefully selected sugar cane molasses. The fermentation takes at least two weeks before the resulting cane sugar wine is distilled in authentic copper pot stills. It is distilled at least twice to obtain a refined and elegant distillate.

After this, this Flying Dutchman PORT is aged in very rare barrels on which very exclusive Port has matured before. These barrels give the rum its intense color and contribute to the rich taste. All their products are of course not cold filtered or colored

Nose:
fruity, with Citrus fruit in the foreground, a combination of orange and lemon with underlying notes of soaked raisins and milk chocolate.

Taste:
typical rum aromas with passion fruit and guava, supplemented with notes of chocolate and orange.

Finish:
long and fruity with lots of citrus and milk chocolate.
