Description
What makes this Aejo from Cava de Oro so special is the storage: while normal tequilas usually mature in ex-bourbon barrels, the tequilera Puerta de Hierro uses ex-red wine barrels made from French white oak. This gives the Gran Cava de Oro Anejo its intense golden color and its unique taste.
The production
- 100% Blue Weber Agave
- cooked in brick ovens
- pressed with a roller mill
- fermented in stainless steel tanks and double distilled
- Aged for 2 years in American and French oak barrels
