Frey Ranch 4 Grain Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel #2233, 122.8 proof non-chill filtered, 6 years old.
TASTING NOTES:
- Nose: Tons of honeycomb, bright strawberry, lemon custard and sweet grain
- Palate: Honeycomb, tons of citrus and tart strawberry for days. Hint of the signature Frey Ranch grain notes with baking spices. Finish brings a lot of sweet oak with a touch of leather and chocolate orange flavors.
- Final Impressions: As this opens up it gets sweeter and more fruit forward. This will be a perfect bourbon for the Fall season.
