Parker’s Bourbon Heritage Orange Curacao Barrel Finished (750 mL)

Working with Master Blender Alain Royer, we sourced barrels from France that once held French orange curaao. The barrels are made of American Oak.We filled around 200 orange curaao barrels with 7 to 8-year-old Bourbon, and they were stored on the 4th and 5th floors of Warehouse I in Bardstown for the finishing process, which lasted 4 months.The orange curaao that soaked into these barrels was made from the peels of bitter citrus fruits grown in the Caribbean. The fruits are harvested before they ripen, while they’re still green. This is when the maximum amount of orange essence can be extracted.

After four months in the orange curaao barrels, we dumped the liquid to complete the finishing process. The liquid is bottled, and the 12th edition of Parker’s Heritage Collection was released.In carrying on Parker Beams legacy, a portion of proceeds generated from each release of this collection is donated to ALS research and patient care.
