Description

This blend celebrates the friendship between King Haakon VII of Norway and Albert Riises son and successor Valdemar Riise.

The drops accommodates a long-expressed desire from rum aficionados from all over the world, as it expands upon the navy tradition by using large quantities of pot still rum.

To recreate the ambience of olden-day navy rum we have given the drink a velvet touch and a sweet twist.

NOSE

First comes vanilla, coconut and butter caramel. Later there is a hint of caramelised apple cake with a slightly burnt edge and discrete floral note of lavendar.

TASTE

The primary aromatic notes are also discernible in the taste, with the coconut coming to the forefront.

FINISH

The vanilla and butter caramel linger long, together with a hint of orange peel, which balances the spirit very well indeed.
