Cardenal Mendoza is the result of over 200 years of company tradition in the heart of the sherry-growing region, produced by the renowned Bodega Sanchez Romate. The brandy owes its name to Don Pedro Gonzales de Mendoza, also known as “El Gran Cardenal de Espaa”, who became famous as an important advisor to the Spanish royal family and Christopher Columbus.

Produced using the traditional solera method, this Cardenal Mendoza Brandy de Jerez Solera Gran Reserva matures in oak barrels that were previously filled with sherry such as Oloroso and Pedro Ximnez. This special ageing method gives the brandy its exceptional depth and complexity. With rich aromas of fruit, chocolate, vanilla and caramel, Cardenal Mendoza is considered one of the best brandies in the world.
